Sajevce is a small settlement on the left bank of the river Krka in the Kostanjevica na Krki municipality in eastern Slovenia. The area was traditionally part of Lower Carniola and is now included in the Spodnjeposavska statistical region.[2]
A prehistoric burial ground has been found near the settlement. It dates to the Early Iron Age and numbers 22 clearly defined and still visible tumuli between 15 to 20m in diametre and 2 m in height.[3]
